The event for Paul Scarborough at the Mennello Museum was both elegant and touching. It was exactly what he would have wished.
Just as I was leaving, I realized I had forgotten my phone. I went back into the main hall, found the phone and saw this image on the projection screen.
Lael Dewahl, Dustin Gregg, Martha Lent and I so loved our experience with Paul. It came back to me quickly how generous and helpful he had been to all of us. He wanted everybody to succeed and be happy.
Paul used his platform to encourage compassion and support to many worthy causes and charities. He loved animals and much of his time and energy was spent on raising funds for his fur friends.
He also was a mentor and encourager to countless people. The recurring theme I kept hearing that night was about his constant support for artists.
He was kind. He was brilliant and gifted. He cared deeply about all of us.
